Chef Jason Atherton’s new restaurant – his first since leaving the fold of Gordon Ramsay Holdings, where he ran Maze – has lived up to expectations. It underlines what most pundits already knew – that he is one of London’s best chefs, at the top of his game. At Pollen Street Social he’s assembled a first-class team to work with him and also acquired enough capital to do everything to the high standard a chef of his calibre deserves. Although not cheap, it’s good value for cooking of such an exemplary standard and has earned an unusual 5/5 star review from Time Out’s Food & Drink reviewers.
