Some lovely scene queens sell off what they do not need anymore along with items they have created at Queer Fayre – a market-cum-party for gay folk and everyone else – organised by Woteverworld at Royal Vauxhall Tavern this Saturday (noon-6pm). Queer Fayre is a queer version of a jumble sale alongside a local food and craft market, selling old and new books, music, clothes, bric a brac and homewares. Cookies, salads, wraps and vodka jellies are on offer for the hungry, and Ingo’s traditional Swedish Fika stall sells coffee, sandwiches and cake. Music is played all day by Wotever DJ tagteam.
Queer Fayre is at Royal Vauxhall Tavern, 372 Kennington Lane, SE11 5HY (020 7820 1222).
