The Bull is back. Recently reopened by Dan Fox (previously manager of The White Horse in Parsons Green – aka the Sloaney Pony – which happens to be of the finest alehouses in London), it has been reborn as a ‘brewpub’ (that is, a pub that makes its own beer on the premises). As of today, it’s releasing its first pair of home-grown beers to visitors: Beer Street, a 4% bitter, and Nervous Energy, a golden American hopped pale ale. These are the only 2 currently brewed on site but for craft beer fans there’s plenty more on tap, with 5 hand-pulled real ales, from Tottenham’s Redemption and Fyne Ales from Argyllshire, and a further 10 on keg. In the fridges, there’s a strong showing from US microbreweries such as Odell and Goose Island, plus a handful of great Trappist brews.
