The Experimental Food Society is an online directory of interesting gourmet companies. Next month it holds 3 events, with an exhibition at The Old Truman Brewery (October 21-22) featuring over 8,5000 sq ft of culinary art, followed by a banquet at The Folly (October 23) and a talk at V&A (October 25) on ‘The Wilderness Year’. At the exhibition, truly amazing things are on show: camel milk ice cream, sonic food artists, edible clothes and mosaics, a new wave cake, chocolate architecture and a geographical lasagne, to name a tasty few. The Gastronaut Extraordinary Snack Bar is also a highlight. Guests at the banquet, meanwhile, are invited to eat out of the hand of Ray Mears.
