Grayson Perry Afternoon Tea at the British MuseumTo celebrate the British Museum’s new exhibition, ‘Grayson Perry: The Tomb of the Unknown Craftsman‘ (until February 19, 2012), a whimsical set afternoon tea inspired by the eccentric artist and his beloved teddy bear Alan Measles has been launched in the Court Restaurant. For £18.50, the tea includes your classic smoked salmon and cucumber sandwiches, with a Grayson favourite of Marmite thrown in for good measure; on the sweet side there will be Alan Measles-shaped elderflower jellies, dark chocolate and almond motorbikes (Grayson is a motorbike enthusiast) and glittery cupcakes. On weekdays, you can purchase a combined ticket to include entry to the exhibition, followed by the tea.
