A map of the ‘Land of Hopeful Commuters’

mind the map

As you well know, here at Time Out towers we’re big fans of puns, so it should come as no surprise that artist Agnès Poitevin-Navarre’s project as part of ‘Mind the Map’ sparked our interest.  Navarre is working with the London Transport Museum to create an original art work based entirely on Londoners’ responses to the vague but interesting question: ‘where do you hope to be?’ By including your postcode, Agnès can plot each response on the map to create a geographically sensitive indication of our collective hopes and dreams. The finished product will sit alongside works by artists including Simon Patterson, Stephen Walter and Susan Stockwell as part of the exhibition (May 18-October 28). Where do we hope to be? You’ll have to guess…
