Tunnels, basements, tubes, sewers, graves – there is a lot of dark and intriguing things that go on underground. Forget all the stuff happening on the surface, these photographers have dug a little deeper using the theme of ‘underground’ as a starting point for this show at theprintspace gallery in east London. David Solomons’ tube photos originally caught our eye, but Dylan Thomas’ mysterious images from his series ‘Crash’ and Gesche Wurfel’s ‘Basement Sanctuaries’ are also definitely worth a look. The free exhibition opens on March 1 (7-9.30pm) until March 21.
