Still lives for chocolate lovers
At it’s succulent best, chocolate is nothing less than a work of art. I’m not talking about your curly whirly milk chocolate chunky crunchy star multi-pack (although come to think of it, that does sound quite nice) what I’m referring to is a collaboration between chocolatier Carol Anderson and artist Sylvia Libedinsky. The project ‘Still Lives with Cocoa’, which pairs gourmet chocolates with three-dimensional paper sculptures, launches on Friday March 9 at the bookartbookshop. A playful take on Giorgio Morandi’s paintings (not to be confused with Piet Mondrian of Neo-Plasticism fame) these scrumptious still lives will delight chocolate and art lovers alike.
