It seems that this new wave of anti-capitalism is here to stay – move over Occupy London, it’s all about The Road to Nowhere – a new organisation which states itself as ‘curators, not dictators’ of a new hierarchy-less festival taking place in Somerset in August. The organisation states that there will be no currency on site, and all costs will be put back in to the collective. Ahead of the festival, and taking place slightly closer to home, The Road to Nowhere is hosting ‘Through the Looking Glass’ in Shoreditch on April 20, incorporating a three-course meal for the rather reasonable price of £35, with audio and visual ‘interactive and participatory entertainment’ too. Step in through the looking glass – oh, and don’t be late. Charlotte Watson
