What would you do if hundreds of men ran passed you dressed in drag? Sit up and pay attention? Well, that’s exactly what Prostate Action and The xFoundation are hoping for with the Great Drag Race. Prostate cancer is the biggest cause of male cancer deaths (10,200 per year) in the UK but many don’t even know where the prostate is. So without any hint of subtly, inspiration has been taken from Cancer Research UK in the form of this 10.2km race. To take part, all you have to do is register online for £10, doll yourself up and head to Highbury Fields before noon today and wait for the starting pistol at 1.30pm. Along with the race, there will be live entertainment, a licensed bar and live entertainment. Everyone is welcome, no matter your age, size or fitness ability, even if you can only managed the last 10.2 metres – you just have to be a man and man enough to frock up. Everyone else is welcome to come down and cheer them on. Carly-Ann Clements
