With all eyes on London’s East End, what better time this week’s return of the East End Film Festival (July 3- 8) bigger and better than ever. Coinciding with World Pride, not only will EEFF be screening the best in British and world cinema, but also showcasing lots of LGBT films. The festival takes place at local cinemas and more eclectic venues like the rather spectacular Andaz Liverpool Street Hotel Masonic Lodge featuring everything from Amy Winehouse to Elvis, hacktivists to first hand accounts of the Olympic Games. Plus, there’ll be loads of other events like a Build Your Own Gromit workshop, panel discussions with Amnesty International and Cine-East, a day of fun free fringe events. Carly-Ann Clements
