We’re strong believers that some things should be kept behind closed doors, but when it’s for a good cause we can make an exception. Last week was World Toilet Day, a day to recognise the health-related, emotional and psychological consequences that 1.1 billion people around the world face due to not having proper, clean toilet facilities. To help raise awareness and provide access to basic sanitation for those who need it, Domestos unleashed an interactive sculpture called ‘The Public Toilet’ in Tower Bridge. The giant squatting porcelain sculpture allowed thousands of people to upload and share videos of their toilet face, supporting the cause and letting those passing by have a wee insight into the private lives of others.
