If you could only pick one Kraftwerk album to see performed live in its entirety, which one would you choose? ‘Radio-Activity’? ‘Trans Europe Express’? ‘Computer World’? ‘Tour de France’? Excitingly, this is not a hypothetical question. If you’re a fan of techno-inventing, lycra-sporting, dryly hilarious Teutonic man-machines – and let’s face it, who isn’t? – the decision will have to be made by Wednesday December 12. Because at 7.30am on that day, tickets will go on sale for a series of February shows at the Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall in which Kraftwerk will perform an album a night. They’ll be limited to four per person and for one night only. And with all due respect, who wants to be left with ‘Electro Pop’?
Tickets are £60 and go on sale to the public on Wednesday 12 December 2012 at 7.30am at tate.org.uk/kraftwerk.
