Thirsty work at Soho’s Museum of Water

Posted at 10:00 am, March 13, 2013 in Food & Drink, Fun London

A museum of water: isn’t that just a sewer? Not according to artist Amy Sharrocks, who’s opening a ‘collection of water’ on the Broadwick Street site where physician John Snow made medical history by tracing the source of a cholera outbreak to a water pump. It’ll feature a jar filled with snowballs and water from the top of Snowdon. And a pop-up ‘Water Bar’. One thing, though: drinking H20 at a site once associated with the deadly spread of water-dwelling disease? Best stick to bottled…

For info, see museumofwater.co.uk.  Get in there quick, the museum is only open today until Sat Mar 16.
