Feelings of anxiety, depression and vulnerability are sadly the biggest killers of young men in London. It seems like there’s a lot of guys out there who don’t know where to look for support. Charity CALM (aka the Campaign Against Living Miserably), want men of all ages to know there’s somewhere to turn, and to promote their cause, on Sunday March 24, they are taking over three billboards on the south side of Old Street at the junction with Pitfield Street and Great Eastern Street. To get this bonanza off the ground, viral marketing whizz kids Soulful Creative pitched in and provided three up-and-coming artists: Koze, Richt and 45rpm who will be spreading their urban magic across the billboards for all passers by to watch. There will also be DJs and refreshments on tap all day, as well as the CALM guys, who’ll be on hand to have a chat from 9am. Adam Bloodworth
