Feeling nostalgic about art classes at school? Remember making masks out of a cereal box, getting some coloured tissue paper and glitter, and all of a sudden you are a tiger? Well it’s about time you stepped into the modern world of mask-making. Today Studio Boo, set up by two artists with a background in prop and graphic design, will guide you through the magical world of 3D collage masks at their workshop ‘What’s your BOO face?’
The creative pair will show you interesting collage techniques to make sure your masks pop out and get yourself noticed, all using reused and natural materials. Studio Boo is part of ‘Pick Me Up’ graphic arts festival at Somerset House. So if you’re looking for something to do today, head down and say BOO.
‘What’s your BOO face?’ take place 10am – 6pm today April 26 at Somerset House. Free with entry to Somerset House. For more info on the event, see studio-boo.co.uk and find out about Pick Me Up Graphic Arts Festival.
