Bank Holiday weekends are the land of the hangovers. And when you’re in that tender state sometimes all you want is a hug and someone to tell you everything is going to be ok. If you’re craving the innocence of childhood, head down to Green Park this afternoon at 2pm (May 4) for a Teddy Bear picnic and pyjama party. The Sound Asleep group have teamed up with community project organisers Focal Local to put on a picnic that will blow your little Paddington Bear’s hat off.
If you want to run around Green Park as if it was Mufti Day circa 1995 then get your stripy PJs at the ready because activities like Best Dressed Teddy, pillow fights and sleeping bag races will get you as hyper as the kids. The organisers are encouraging picnic-goers to set up their own activities too so bring along your accordion/egg and spoon/skipping rope etc. The picnic is open to all ages and is free, so bring the whole gang.
