It might not surprise you to hear that the London Dungeon is shunning traditional Christmas festivities this year. That’s right, no jolly men dressed up as Saint Nick, no sweet little elves, and certainly no angels. Instead, they’ve gone for a scary alternative that will take visitors back 200 years and lead them through a terrifying tale of icy murder.
Guests will be suspected and questioned, before a haunting meeting with the Ghost of Christmas herself. There will then be the opportunity to ‘meet’ some of London’s creepiest criminals in the depths of the dungeons – Sweeney Todd, Jack the Ripper, and Mrs Lovett to name a few – which should provide an alternative to the usual seasonal merriment.
Do you dare? If so, The Ghost of Christmas runs at the London Dungeon from December 2 to January 5.
