Looking for a new project for 2014? Take a leaf out of Henrik G Dahle’s book and climb a tree every day for a year. As well as taking photos from the trees he climbed, Henrik found himself conducting interviews among the branches and is now in the process of writing a book documenting his leafy escapades.

Henrik’s journey took him through ten different countries, and saw him meet everyone from belly dancers and actors to school children and professors. London features heavily in Henrik’s adventure – he climbed a number of the city’s trees, including the Trafalgar Christmas tree (which he actually climbed in Oslo, before it was chopped down) and took plenty of photos in his time amid the foliage.

If you want to find out more (including how you can get yourself a discount on Henrik’s book by sending him a picture you’ve drawn of a tree) go to uptreesbook.com
