Ever wanted to run away to the circus? Well, if you do decide to make the leap you won’t have to go very far, as Gandini Juggling has announced it’ll be holding a drop-in juggling session this afternoon (April 22) near the London Eye. Open to all levels, the public are invited to bring anything juggle-able (best to start with apples and oranges rather than fire and knives) and try their hands at the circus skill. The well-travelled troupe are one of the world’s biggest juggling companies and lesson prices are usually sky high, but for one day only they’ll be waving their fee and teaching you the tricks completely free!
And as if that wasn’t enough, anyone who comes for a lesson will also be able to claim a free ticket to see ‘Smashed’, the group’s latest show at the Udderbelly Festival this May. It’s a mix of traditional juggling, circus and contemporary dance and you can find a sneak preview of their handiwork below. Stephanie Hartman
Meet at the London Eye, South Bank on April 22 from 4pm. Free tickets to ‘Smashed’ are subject to availability for shows on April 22-24. Reserve your space and claim your free ticket by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
