Got some money to burn (or an empty stomach) this bank holiday weekend? Here’s a suggestion: get your tush down to the West End for the latest edition of Soho Flea Market on Sunday (May 25). The third run of this mammoth shopping, food and music extravaganza promises to be the best yet. Dean Street will be crammed full of market stalls selling the wares of a bunch of cool designers and makers, with everything from fashion to art to ceramics on sale. There’ll also be food stalls – heaps of them – pitching up on the adjoining Carlisle Street and Bateman Street. Don’t miss Mark Hix’s legendary Fishdog Van, and goodies from Pizza Pilgrims, The London Marshmallow Company and many more. And the whole thing will be set to a banging soundtrack courtesy of City Showcase, who’ll be setting up a stage featuring a roster of emerging musicians. Not a bad way to while away a Sunday, we’re sure you’ll agree.
Dean Street, W1. Sun May 25 – 11am-7pm. Free.
