The Freedom of the City of London is a high honour to receive indeed. Steeped in centuries of tradition, it bestows the right to trade freely and own property in the city – which recent recipient Eels frontman Mark Oliver Everett may find useful. Admittedly, these days it’s little more than a fun ceremony to get ageing celebrities out of the house, but can you guess who has and hasn’t been given the ‘freedom’?
