The Edinburgh Fringe has just wrapped up for another year, and that means the results of the Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Awards (the most prestigious comedy prize there is) are in. Out of the seven nominees (here’s the full list) this year’s gong went to tonsure wig and false teeth-wearing absurdist John Kearns (pictured above, minus the get up) for his unique, superbly constructed hour of stand-up, ‘Shtick’. You can read our review from the festival here.
Now you can catch the award winner in London too. John Kearns has just announced a month long run of ‘Shtick’ at the Soho Theatre, starting September 24. Tickets are on sale now. Get booking if you want to catch the most talked about comedian in the country right now.
