Just dance: three places to party this weekend
Next weekend is Halloween and there’s all sorts of club-based madness lined up for London. What this means is that you really should get in some party practice with the three ace club nights below, all happening this very weekend. And for loads more club nights across every genre imaginable, visit our Clubs page.
Friday
Moody tech-breaks don Fake Blood shakes the popular Dalston basement with his chunky basslines and banging beats. Supporting is rising French producer Morgan Hammer at what’s sure to be an energetic one.
Saturday
Bass all over your grateful face here, as celebrated jungle figurehead Congo Natty, AKA Rebel MC, is joined by fellow low-frequency warriors Mala (of dubstep pioneers Digital Mystikz), drum’n’bass don Dillinja and Glaswegian dubbed-out soundsystem crew Mungo’s Hi-Fi. Expect D&B, dub, reggae, but above all, a whole lot of joyously heavy jungle. Massive, you might say.
Sunday

Northern Soul All-Dayer at The Dome
Relive those days at Wigan Casino (a Wigan nightclub famous for its Northern soul nights) at this all-dayer, where a huge host of DJs spin over two rooms, with classic sounds in the main room and rare and underplayed tracks in room two. DJs include John Poole, Derek Mead, Ann Taylor, Chris King, Jim Watson, Dennis Hyde and many more. If you’re intrigued by Northern soul, read our guide here.
