It’s been off limits to the public for 150 years, but finally in January 2015 the New Wing of Somerset House will reopen with an epic exhibition all about maps. And you know we ♥ maps.
Maps will vary in form and media, ranging from the literal maps to the very abstract. Some will be illustrated while others will be created using digital technology. Work from more than 50 internationally renowned street and graffiti artists will be displayed, each divulging the city’s secrets.
The exhibition is a collaboration between A(by)P and Somerset House, and artists include Shepard Fairey, Swoon and Aryz, as well as emerging artists from everywhere from Australia to Finland.
