Merry Chriiiiissstmaaaaaaas! We reckon the majority of Londoners will be devoting today to overindulgence and festive films on the sofa, but if you’re planning to mooch around the city centre, you should definitely check before you travel. There are NO public transport services on today, so here’s how you can get around.

Buses, Tube, Overground, DLR

No service.

Go wild, they’re operating 24 hours a day throughout the Christmas period. They may be more expensive though.

If you’re super keen to get into town and wander around the deserted streets then hop on a Boris bike. Only a few Barclays Cycle Hire docking stations will be suspended, including South Quay West in Canary Wharf, and Wansey Street in Southwark. You can double check availability with TfL’s live docking station map.

General advice

Stay at home, crack open another bottle of red, put your feet up and have a snooze.

Go to tfl.gov.uk for the full breakdown of services.
