Roll up, roll up for the Great Sausage Roll Off

You may be familiar with the Scotch Egg Challenge that happens every September at The Ship pub in Wandsworth. Well now another delicious meat snack is stepping up – it’s time to find the best sausage roll in London. This Wednesday Jan 28 at the Red Lion pub in Barnes, competitors will be cooking their pastry-cloaked snacks live before presenting them to the judging panel which includes food critic Charles Campion, chef and owner of Sticky Walnut Gary Usher and winner of 2010’s ‘The Great British Bake Off’ Edd Kimber.
