Tipped for success by no less than Time magazine, and garnering rave reviews on both sides of the Atlantic, Nashville singer-songwriter Prass applies her birdlike voice to some very nice, brassy country soul.
Violet – the massive upturned purple cow that grazes on the South Bank during the summer months, otherwise known as the Udderbelly – has already announced a chunk of its 2015 programme. But its second batch is particularly impressive. Shows going on sale tomorrow include high-octane Irishman Jason Byrne, US physical comedy duo the Pajama Men, cheeky ventriloquist Nina Conti, multi-award winning TV regular Sara Pascoe and the best (/most inappropriate) kids comedy show out there, the Foster’s Award-winning Funz and Gamez.
