Everyone’s moving to London. Everyone’s leaving London. Everyone’s staying in London and having lots of babies. The fate of London is very different depending on which stats you’re looking at.
A new project called ‘London is Changing’ is taking a new approach. They’re asking London residents (and former residents) to fill out an online Q&A about why they moved here, why they’re leaving or why they’re staying. They hope the results will reveal more about migration in the city. Anyone who moved (or is planning to move) in or out of London in the past or next 12 months is invited to take part.
The project’s run by Dr Rebecca Ross of Central Saint Martins. She hopes to reveal the full set of quotes in early 2016.
